The Como by Design event provided Maine House Interiors the platform to reimagine the entrance hall within the historic Como House in South Yarra.
DESIGN
“This space was all about a play on tradition. I selected a stunning Chinoiserie-inspired wallpaper in bold blues and greens, pairing it with blue and white stripe, spot and tile prints across upholstery."
“I chose stately Georgian antiques for warmth and presence, then juxtaposed this with modern art hung overhead. To finish we styled ceramic lamps with gathered shades, ginger jars and curious objects from all over the world”, Amy Spargo, Design Director.
