BRIEF
To update an original 1930’s home for family living, while keeping the unique character and reflecting the magnificent coastal location.
DESIGN
"For the renovation of my own family home, we added a 100sqm extension and reconfigured dark and dated rooms to create a better flow. We wanted to celebrate the beautiful features like strapped ceilings, timber windows and the wonderful views, so every space was redesigned to feel timeless yet fresh.
“Some of my favourite decisions were to relocate the laundry upstairs - complete with a drying cupboard, and to create a new entry foyer decorated with statement hydrangea wallpaper, which really provides a sense of place when you first arrive,” notes Amy Spargo, Design Director
“People comment that they can’t tell where the original part of the home finishes and the renovation starts, which to me is the highest compliment."
